january Prayer Newsletter 2005
Greetings to each one of you, and a blessed new year,
We, at Julaine ministries are so thankful to the Lord that we are able to bring our prayer needs and requests to you. Knowing that you join with us, linking arms and hearts on behalf of this last-days ministry causes us to know that together, our prayers will have powerful results. So, from the bottom of our hearts once again, thank you as you join with us as we bring the following petitions before the Lord:
We have an invitation to go to the Philippines in November of this year. Please pray for direction and timing.
The “Aglow” West Area is sponsoring a day retreat with Julaine, called “Desperate for Jesus.” It will be held on February 19th from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Ankeny, Iowa. These are specific prayer points for their day retreat:
- Pray that He will “fill up” all who come hungry for more of Jesus.
- Pray that He will “open His hand” and satisfy the desire of all who come. (Ps. 145:16).
- Pray Rev. 22:17: “And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come! Pray that those who come will be prepared to receive whatever God has for them, and for those who He would like to be there, to hear and come.
- Pray that all that has held the women captive will be removed that they might better serve Him.
- Pray for West Area Team as they prepare that all will “hear” from God, will work in unity and will have favor with the motel, staff, sound, etc., so that God’s word will come forth.
- Pray for Julaine and the team that this will be a year of breakthrough.
- Pray for health and wholeness for every team member and their families.
- Pray for the radio broadcast, and for the finishing of the book that Julaine and Brenda Coomers are putting together.
- We daily appropriate the Blood of Jesus over everything concerning this, His ministry.
A WORD IN SEASON:
“ON CALL”
"I have set watchmen upon your walls, oh Jerusalem, who will never hold their Peace, day or night; you who are His servants, and by your prayers put the Lord in remembrance of His promises, keep not silence, and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth." (Isaiah 62:6-7)
I sense that this is going to be a year such as we have never seen before. It already has proven so, with the devastation on the Asian and African coast. This is a wake-up call for the world, and for the Church. We are in the time of birth pangs before the tribulation; the whole earth is groaning for the return of our Lord.
What a time for intercessors to seek the face of God! I believe that we will be seeing and hearing things on an almost daily basis that will stun, dismay, astonish and amaze the world. Our place of prayer, and our dedication to it, will take on new meaning. Where we have become complacent in areas of prayer, we no longer can be. If we are to be watchmen on the wall as spoken of in Isaiah, ready in an instant to lay everything aside and come before Him, we must have an on-call mindset.
When a mother in a hospital is about to give birth to her baby, often the doctor on call is notified to come immediately. That doctor doesn’t say, I’m too busy, or I’m too tired, call someone else. He knows that he signed up to be on call and he had better get there quick to deliver that little life into the world.
So it is with being on call as an intercessor. We have signed up – said “yes” to Him. We have told Him, take my life, call me at a moment’s notice, during the night, when away on vacation, when and where-ever, I am available. I will go to the wall as your watchman, and will give birth in prayer to that which is in your heart. I will be steadfast and diligent to bring You in remembrance of your promises.
As the whole earth is groaning for the return of the Lord, we play a huge part in seeing God’s plans brought forth in preparation of His soon return.
This day, along with me, would you dedicate your life anew to the awesome privilege of serving the King of Kings, as an on- call watchman on the wall, available, day or night? He will provide all that you need so that you can remain faithful to do it.
God bless you,
Judy Arnold
