Hi Miss Julaine.
Kumusta ka na? Well i know you're wondering what that means. It mean how are you in the Filipino language.
I thank God for this priviledge to email you. I am Ofelia, one of the worship leaders you met when you visited Baguio City, Philippines last year. I belong to the Life In Jesus Assembly Of God Church under Ptr. Thim Bugtong. I dont know if you'll recall me but you said I'll just say am your favorite Praise & worship leader in the Philippines so you can remember me. I laughed inside when you said that coz I know you have'nt met the much singers yet. I am so grateful though that i had the rare oppurtunity of meeting great music ministers like yourself.
I also thank God for the great impact you have brought to our place, for all that we've learned from you during the seminar on praise & worship leading and for the impartation of the gift of the Holy Spirit that I believe we received when you laid your hands on us. You really inspired our team, myself specially. You know, since that encounter with you, there is this new passion in me to really know more about getting deeper & deeper and higher in worship by allowing myself to be carried away by the wind of the Holy Spirit. I know that it will be easier to lead God's people in worship when I myself learn to be led by the HS.
I do commit mistakes from time to time but I praise God for his amazing grace. He continually lifts me up & uses me despite my weaknesses.
It's my prayer that God will continually bless & prosper your ministry as you continue to touch people thru your music. Hope to see you again.
May God continually use us all, in great or in small ways maybe to build His kingdom here on earth. To be used by Him is the highest profession.

Julaine,
You were with us New Year's Eve 1999. I had been saved since June 15, 1999 but still struggled with giving up alcohol. My grandpa died of a liver disease and my dad was an alcoholic and also myself. There was an alter call and the Lord used you that evening. You prayed that the generational curse of alcoholism would stop here and now with me.
When you prayed I felt something in me change, and from that moment on I have had no craving or thoughts of drinking whatsoever! Praise God! And a bonus to this is I used to have a very foul mouth, and from that night I have been completely delivered from swearing. It's been 6 years!
Since then, I am in my 2nd term on the Deacon board here at Victory Road Assembly of God. I've graduated from Global University, Berean School of the bible. I head up our Honor Bound Men's group (Men's Ministries) at our church. For going on 3 years, I've been a volunteer jail chaplain at the county jail and now this last fall 2005, I have gotten my Pastoral Credentials.
My family and I just want to say thank you for letting God use you. May God bless you, and your ministry. And we need to remember Jesus is Lord, and to give Him all the praise and glory.

------------------------------------ Julaine,
Oh, my gosh! Your tapes! Ok, maybe that's a bit dramatic but as I listen to these tapes of yours on the Song of Solomon, it is so obvious to me why it took 6 months for me to get them. I couldn't have heard or understood 6 months ago what I am hearing and understanding now. I need them for NOW. God knew that, too, and that's why it took 6 months for me to get them.
Right now, you are walking me through the whys of what God has taken me through over the last few months and a little bit of what I have to look forward to and why it needs to happen. It's amazing! Anyway, I HAD to tell you that before you left for China. This is so cool and brings a whole lot of things into focus for me. So thank you for waiting 6 months to get these to me. :-)
Blessings!
Diana
